The Hawaii Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RGPGP) is managed by the City and County of Honolulu, in collaboration with the State of Hawaii, counties, the private sector, volunteer agencies, and non-governmental organizations. The role of the RCPGP is to maintain a cross-jurisdiction and multi-discipline framework from which common emergency and disaster response planning can be accomplished. Increasing the efficiency of multi-agency response to emergencies and increasing the disaster preparedness of individuals, families, businesses and communities are priorities of the RCPGP.
